How we work together
No two people are the same, and no two therapy journeys look the same either. I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including ACT, CBT and Mindfulness and Compassion-based therapies, to create a treatment approach that is tailored to your unique needs, your personal style and your goals.

Your first session
What you can expect when you work with me
I know that reaching out for support takes a lot of courage. Sometimes it can feel very daunting. So here is what you can expect when you do.
Your first session is a conversation. It is an opportunity to get to know you, and for you to get to know me. We explore what has brought you here, what you are carrying and what you are hoping for. There is no pressure to have it figured out. I will ask a lot of questions, and I do encourage you, if it feels right, to ask questions of me.
From there we work collaboratively, drawing on ACT, CBT and Mindfulness and Compassion-based therapies to build a treatment approach that is genuinely tailored to your needs, your goals and your pace.
The number of sessions will vary depending on your presenting concerns and treatment goals, and we will always discuss this openly together. As things shift and progress is made, we may move to a less frequent schedule — this is always something we discuss and decide together.
